Panasonic today launched a smartphone under its Eluga series, called Eluga Arc 2, in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 12,290 and available in Gold and Rose Gold color options. The smartphone comes with a protective screen guard.
The Panasonic Eluga Arc 2 has a metal unibody design and features a 5-inch HD (720p) dual 2.5D curved display with Asahi DragonTrail glass protection and On-Cell Touch technology. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage, with option to expand up-to 128GB via micro SD card.
On the camera front, Eluga Arc 2 has an 8-megapixel shooter with an LED flash on the back, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid dual-SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi direct, a MicroUSB port, USB OTG, an IR blaster, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, Turbo Download, Light Sensor, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer. Natably the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2450 mAh battery. The handset comes with 7.6mm thin metal moulded body made with aircraft grade aluminium alloy using CNC technology and weighs around 147 grams.
