Oppo has today confirmed to launch Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10x Zoom edition smartphones in India on May 28. The company has posted as teaser image on its twitter account that reads ” I am Reno, Soon In India, May 28″.
Oppo had launched its Reno series in China in the month of April this year. In China, company launched three variants of Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10X zoom edition smartphones. The Oppo Reno 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is priced at 2999 yuan, the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage variant is priced at 3299 yuan, while 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant cost 3599 yuan. The smartphone comes in Green, Pink, Purple and Black colours. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 10X zoom edition is priced at 3999 yuan for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 4499 yuan for the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version is priced at 4799 yuan. It comes in Green and Black colour options. As of now there is no confirmation whether company will launch all the variants in India or go with few.

The Oppo Reno comes with 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED (2340 × 1080 pixels), 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 430 nits brightness and 97% NTSC colour gamut. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It comes eqipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 710 10nm SoC (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) coupled with Adreno 616 GPU.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 and has a 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The Oppo Reno 10x Optical Zoom Edition comes with 6.6-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED Display with 2340 × 1080 pixels resolution, 100% NTSC colour gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It comes equipped with octa-core Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform (1 x 2.84GHz Kryo 485 + 3 x 2.42GHz Kryo 485 + 4x 1.80GHz Kryo 485) along with Adreno 640 GPU.

For heat dissipation, the phone features a copper tub liquid cooling heat sink. The the houses a optical in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, NFC, Game Boost 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack. It also equipped with Dolby Atmos for audiophiles. The phone measures 162 x 77.2 x 9.3mm and it weighs 210 grams.
