Oppo launches N1 Mini, R3 smartphones in China; to launch Find 7 in India today

Oppo Find 7 features a Quad-HD display, Snapdragon 801, and 3 GB RAM.

Chinese handset giant, Oppo is all set to launch its latest flagship – the Find 7 – in India today. Meanwhile, it has announced the launch of two new handsets – N1 Mini and R3 – in China. The Oppo N1 Mini and R3 costs CNY 2699 (approximately Rs 25,700) and CNY 2299 (approximately Rs. 21,800) approximately. Considering Oppo’s seriousness for the Indian market, we expect both the phones to be launched in India soon.

Oppo Find 7

The Oppo Find 7, whose price and availability details will be revealed today at the time of launch, features a 5.5-inch touchscreen with Quad-HD pixel resolution (2560×1440) pixel resolution and thereby pushing of 538 pixels per inch. Such high resolution display is powered by the new quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC mobile and 3 GB RAM. Oppo has packed 32 GB on-board storage on Find 7 and also offered a memory card slot that can support up to 128 GB micro SD card. The Oppo Find 7 is expected to come with 4.4 KitKat operating system and like other Oppo handsets, it has the Color OS.

At the back, the Find 7 features a 13 megapixel camera with Sony Exmor IMX series sensor. The camera can let you record resolution videos at 30 frames per second and even 720p videos in slow-motion (120 frames per second). It also includes 32-second slow shutter speed settings option and hand-held Night mode for better imaging in the dark. The highlight of the imaging is that the camera supports saving the image as RAW file.

Oppo has also integrated the MaxxAudio Mobile module for top quality audio output. The smartphone will offer the MaxxEQ equalizer to enable better audio control for the avid audio lovers. It even supports VOOC charging technology that enables Rapid Charging which makes it possible to recharge 75 per cent battery in 30 minute. Find 7 packs a 3000 battery to power the high resolution display, high quality camera and the powerful processor.

Besides, it has 4.0, WiFi, WiFi Direct, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. Hopefully, it would also support the Indian networks. The Oppo Find 7 measures 9.2 mm thick and weighs 173 grams.

Oppo N1 Mini

It features a 5 inch HD display and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. The N1 Mini has 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and Adreno 305 and 2 GB RAM. Like the Oppo N1, it too has a rotating camera module but of 13 megapixel resolution with Sony IMX214 sensor. It has an LED flash as well.

Besides, the Oppo N1 Mini comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi Direct, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G LTE and connectivity. It is however not clear whether it will support the Indian 4G networks or not. Also, it does not have an expandable storage slot. The 9.2 mm thick Oppo N1 Mini weighs 150 grams despite having a 2140 mAh battery. It comes in White, Blue and Yellow colour options.

Oppo R3

The Oppo R3, claimed to be the thinnest 4G smartphone in the world as it is just 6.3 mm thick, features a 5 inch HD display. It runs on Android operating system and has Color OS that features in all Oppo devices but the version of Android is not known. The R3 too has the 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 like the N1 Mini but it has 1 GB RAM.

It does not have a rotating camera module but it comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. Besides, the Oppo R3 has 8 GB inbuilt storage, 32 GB expandable storage slot, Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS. It comes in Black and White colours.
