Oppo A71 gets a price cut of Rs 3,000

Oppo A71 was launched last year in India with a 13-megapixel rear camera and Android Nougat.

Oppo A71 smartphone has got a price cut of Rs 3,000, according to Mahesh Telecom, a Mumbai-based mobile phone retailer. The retailer announced the price cut via its social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter). However, there is no official confirmation from Oppo regarding the same. The Oppo A71 comes in Gold and Black colours.

Oppo A71 was launched in India last year for Rs 12,990. Now after the price cut, the smartphone will be available for Rs 9,990. It is also to be noted that at the time of writing the story, Oppo A71 is retailing at its original price of Rs 11,990 on Amazon India and Flipkart.

To recall, the Oppo A71 features a metal unibody design and a 5.2-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) display. It is fueled by a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core 1.5GHz processor and Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable to 256GB with a microSD card. The phone runs on 7.1 Nougat Color OS 3.1 operating system and is juiced by a 3000mAh battery.

On the camera front, the Oppo A71 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with camera f/2.4 for selfies and video chats. Besides, the smartphone will offer dual-SIM support, VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), 4.0, and GPS. It has a dimension of 148.1×73.8 x7.6 mm and weighs 137 grams. The include Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, Accelerator Sensor and E-compass.
