OnePlus 3T With Snapdragon 821 SoC launching soon in India?

The Snapdragon 821 processor is clocked at 2.35 GHz coupled with Adreno 530 GPU.

Seems that OnePlus is now planning to launch OnePlus 3T in India soon. The company has now started teasing on its official twitter handle about something coming new. The tweet reads “Guess who’s coming to town?” along with an image which says ” the best is about to get better”.

However, the tweet does not name the device but it hints towards the most likely launch of OnePlus 3T. Even Vikas Agarwal, General Manager of OnePlus India also teased about the phone on twitter. His tweet reads “Time To Tell The TruTh * Tick Tock *”.

OnePlus had recently launched OnePlus 3T at $439 (Rs 29,800) for 64 GB variant and $479( Rs 32,500) for 128 GB variant. The OnePlus 3T is now available in the US starting November 22 i.e today and will be available in Europe on the 28th of this month. It is now available in Gunmetal colour variant only while the Soft Gold version will be launched in December.

Talking about the specifications and changes in the new OnePlus 3T, not a lot has changed from OnePlus 3 with the same 5.5 inch 1080 x 1920 Optic-AMOLED display, 6GB RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Things which has changed is the new Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35 GHz coupled with the same Adreno 530 GPU. The front camera has seen a huge upgrade with double the resolution this time of 16 megapixel Samsung sensor. The battery has also seen an improvement with a jump from 3000 in OnePlus 3 to 3400 mAh in OnePlus 3T. Also, the Graphite colour is gone and is replaced by a new Gunmetal variant apart from the Soft Gold variant. Lastly, the camera lens at the back has got sapphire glass protection now.
