OnePlus is rumored to launch the successor of OnePlus 2, the OnePlus 3, later this month. There have been many leaks of OnePlus 3 in recent times. Now again some alleged images of the device have been published online.
In these fresh images, the so called OnePlus 3 looks like that of OnePlus 2 from the front but resembles the HTC One series from the back. The new leaked images show an oval physical home button at the bottom of the OnePlus 3. It has a metal unibody build and a fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus 3 has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port, the images revealed. Also, there is a speaker grill as well as microphone opening at the bottom. Only one side of the phone has been revealed in the images, and there seems to be a toggle switch there. The other side, which is not visible in the pictures, is likely to have the power and volume buttons
Earlier, the alleged OnePlus 3 was spotted on GFXBench as well as on Antutu benchmarking websites. OnePlus 3 is expected to come in two variants – one with Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and another with Snapdragon 820, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
As per earlier rumors, OnePlus 3 will have 5-inch display that has full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 2.1 GHz quad-core processor, 4/6GB RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage, Adreno 530 GPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. Also, OnePlus 3 is rumored to have a 16-megapixel autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel and an 8-megapixel front camera.
Earlier this year, OnePlus’ co-founder Carl Pei said that the company will launch the OnePlus 3 by the second quarter of this year and confirmed that the new OnePlus smartphone will come with a brand new design. We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more about the device.
