TCL Communication has introduced a new slew of Alcatel products at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. The brand has introduced Alcatel 3, Alcatel 3L, Alcatel 1S and Alcatel 3T 10 tablet at the tech event.
The Alcatel 3 will be available for a price tag of EUR 159 for 3GB+32GB and EUR189 fir 4GB+64GB option. Alcatel 3L will start at EUR139 and the Alcatel 1S will start from EUR 109. All the smartphones will be available from Q2 of 2019. The Alcatel 3T 10 will be available later this year starting EUR 179 and the company is bundling the Audio Station starting at EUR 229.
Alcatel 3 and 3L
Starting with the Alcatel 3, the smartphone will be available in two colour options, Gradient Black Blue and Gradient Blue Purple. Both the smartphones come loaded with a 5.9-inch HD+ Super FullView display with a screen resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels and 88 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Processor along with 3GB RAM/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The Alcatel 3L is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The phones feature a dual-camera setup at the back panel, which comes with a combination of 13-megapixel primary lens with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Alcatel 3 and 3L boast some AI functions and it uses AI Imaging Scene Detection, which intelligently identifies up to 21 different scenarios in real-time. The phones run on 3,500mAh battery and it runs Android 8.1 Oreo. Connectivity options include WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, NFC, Dual-SIM and microUSB port.
Alcatel 1s
The Alcatel 1S features a plastic build and it is equipped with a 5.5-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by a Spreadtrum SC9863 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie and it is backed by a 3060mAh battery.
For optics, the Alcatel 1S is loaded with a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. For selfies, it is equipped with a 5-megapixel shooter.
Alcatel 3T 10
Alcatel has also introduced a new tablet during the on-going trade show. The tablet comes loaded with dual front-facing speakers coupled with AW8737 amplifier. The tablet also features DSP far-field voice recognition with that can catch the sound up to three meters. The Alcatel 3T 10 features a 10-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is backed by a 4080mAh battery and it comes pre-installed with Google Assistant. It is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The tablet also comes bundled with an Audio Station accessory that can be connected to the tablet and give with up to seven hours of non-stop music on the go. Additionally, when connected to the Alcatel 3T10, an on-screen hub gives you all the information you need in a glance with instant access to the tablet’s most used apps, photos, calendar, music and weather forecast. The Audio Station comes with a 3.5mm auxiliary port, Micro-USB and microSD card reader so you can play audio from any external media players.
