MOX Words keyboard with a support of 22 Indian languages launched

MOX Words is the first keyboard to adopt Government's tri-lingual formula through which the keyboard can be used in 3 prevalent languages irrespective of the region across India.

After MEITY (Ministry of Electronics and IT) recently made it mandatory for mobile phones to support at least 1 regional language apart from English and Hindi, Process9 today launched MOX Words which is a multilingual keyboard for Operating based smartphones.

This keyboard supports 22 Indian – Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Assamese, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Bodo, Dogri, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Nepali, Sanskrit, Santali and Sindhi.

As compared to other keyboards it comes with a unique layout ‘MOX Saral.’ Basically, this unique layout displays both letters and matras of your regional language which helps you converse easily over or even on apps like WhatsApp, Hike, Facebook etc. Not only this, the keyboard also help users to browse through various Indian language websites.

As per the report, MOX Words already comes pre-installed on smartphones from Intex, iBall, Lava, Ziox and others.

Further, justifying the security aspect, Rakesh Kapoor, CEO Process9 quoted – “Many keypad apps that come bundled on smartphones as well as those available for free download on Google collect and use messages typed and entered through them for purposes unknown to the user. All text & messages entered in MOX Words keypad are safe and private. You can use MOX Words without any fear of losing your privacy.”

The Keyboard is available for download on Google Play Store.
