Moto Z2 Force Camera gets a thumbs up

Moto Z2 Force was made available in the international market in July last year and in India, it will be launched on February 15.

Motorola Z2 Force is going to launch in India on February 15, and its camera has got a thumbs up from DxOMark. The device was launched in international markets last July.

As per the report by DxOMark which is a trusted industry standard for the smartphone camera and lens image quality measurements and ratings, “Motorola Moto Z2 Force smartphone camera is capable of recording images with generally good exposure and strikes a good balance between detail retention and noise reduction. It has got a Photo score of 84 points, 78 points for Video, and an overall DxOMark score of 82 points.”

As per the findings, “ Fine textures are nicely rendered in most conditions, and noise is well under control, with only some luminance noise visible in blue skies and under indoor and low-light shooting conditions. In lower light, chromatic noise becomes more noticeable, however, and dynamic range is a little more limited than for some competitors. On the plus side, the Moto’s bokeh feature is capable of generating decent results with good depth estimation.”

The Z2 Force smartphone bears a dual-camera setup. It comprises of a combination of 12-megapixel with enhanced depth of field for creating a bokeh effect. The sensors come with ƒ/2.0, 1.25um, depth detection and depth effects, zero shutter lag (ZSL), phase detection autofocus (PDAF), laser autofocus, closed-loop actuator and colour correlated temperature (CCT) dual led flash. The device can capture videos at 30fps. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with aperture f/2.2, wide angle lens, flash and auto night mode

The Moto Z2 Force runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is backed by a 2730mAh battery, which is accompanied by a 15W TurboPower charger. The phone also houses a fingerprint sensor, which also supports gesture features as well. On the connectivity front, it supports VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 (after Android O update v5.0), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz with MIMO, NFC, and in some regions, the model will be available as well.

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Quad POLED display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood, you will find the latest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform which is clocked at 2.35GHz. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via card.
