Lenovo is all set to launch its new smartphone in India, named as Moto M. The company has started sending out media invites for the curtain-raiser event which is scheduled to take place on December 13th. Reportedly, the device will be sold exclusively on Amazon India. The company has been teasing the phone on its official twitter handle for the past few days regarding its upcoming launch.
The Moto M was first unveiled at an event in China earlier this month at a price tag of CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs 19,600) in Gold and Silver colour variants. As far as the specifications go, Moto M features Super AMOLED a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 Processor with Mali T860MP2 GPU. The smartphone might come with 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The smartphone boasts a 16-megapixel shooter dual-tone LED flash, PDAF while an 8-megapixel camera is in its front. The phone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system backed up by a 3050mAh battery with Turbocharging technology. Connectivity features of the device include dual sim 4G, VoLTE, GPS capability, Bluetooth NFC, USB Type-C. The device measures 151.35×75.35×7.85mm.
