About a fortnight after launching the Lumia 535 for Rs 9,199, Microsoft has now launched another budget smartphone – Lumia 638. The Microsoft Lumia 638 comes with 4G capability and thus at Rs 8,299, it is now the cheapest Windows smartphone with 4G capability. The smartphone will be available from Amazon.in from tomorrow (December 17).
The Microsoft Lumia 638 offers a 4.5 inch ClearBlack LCD display with FWVGA resolution (480×854 pixels). This Windows Phone 8.1 operating system based handset is armed with 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor and 1 GB RAM.
Besides, it has 5 megapixel auto focus rear camera, 8 GB internal storage, 128 GB micro SD card slot, and an 1830 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G , WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
Airtel postpaid users can also avail 5 GB of 4G data for free for 2 months on the new Lumia 638. This offer will be available only until 31st March 2015.
