Micromax has revealed an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based smartphone, which is named as Canvas Unite. The handset has been listed on Micromax’s website but the company has not revealed its price yet. Like the Unite 2, the Canvas Unite too has support for 21 Indian languages. It comes in PristineWhite, ClassyBlack, Mystic Grey, Vibrant Yellow and Fiery Red colours.
The Micromax Canvas Unite features a 4 inch IPS display with 800×480 pixels resolution. It is currently based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and not Android KitKat like the Canvas Unite 2. There is however 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon 400 MSM8212 quad core processor and 1 GB RAM- this combination should enable the smartphone to offer a decent performance.
Besides, the Micromax Canvas Unite has 8 GB inbuilt storage of which 2.99 GB is available for users. There is a micro SD card slot as well which can accomodate a 32 GB micro SD card. The Canvas Unite has a 5 megapixel rear camera, an LED flash, and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. The phone has a 1500 mAh battery which claims to provide 5.5 hours of talktime and 140 hours of standby. This 3G handset has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a micro USB port as well. It has GPS for navigation as well.
