Micromax today has launched another smartphone under the Canvas series – Canvas Xpress. It will be exclusively available on Flipkart for Rs 6,999.
Micromax Canvas Xpress Power has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS Screen display (854X480 pixels) and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and it not clear whether it will be upgradeable to Android Lollipop.
Canvas Xpress has 5 megapixel rear camera with auto focus functionality and 0.3 megapixel front camera. It has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of Internal Memory and 32 GB expandable memory via micro SD card. It is powered by a 1950 mAh battery and on connectivity front supports 3G, Wifi, and Bluetooth.
Micromax has even tied up with Aircel to offer 500 MB data per month for the first 6 months on Canvas Xpress.
Vineet Taneja, Chief Executive Officer, Micromax said in a statement , “Our partnership with Flipkart to launch the Canvas Xpress exclusively reinforces our commitment to simplify the process for millions of users who prefer to shop online and get the device with just a few clicks.”
Micromax Canvas Xpress comes preloaded with HotKnot and Smart Wake feature. Using HotKnot one cab one can transfer data, like images, videos and contacts, with a screen to screen connect with another device which has Hotknot app. It is essentially a Bluetooth transfer made easy using an app. While, Smart Wake one can unlock the device using gestures.
