Micromax Canvas 4, which was launched yesterday and was slated to be available towards the end of this week, is now available on Infibeam for Rs 17,999. Also interested buyers can opt for 3 or 6 month interest free EMI options. The phone is also available from Micromax e-store but here you won’t get the EMI option.
The Micromax Canvas 4 comes with a 5 inch display with HD (720p) resolution. The display is covered with Gorilla Glass 2 for protection from scratches. The smartphone has a 1.2 GHz Mediatek 6589 Chipset and comes with 42 Mbps 3G speed and the latest PowerVR 5XT GPU. It has 1 GB RAM, 16 GB inbuilt memory and is based on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
The Canvas 4 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor provided by Sony for better low light photography, and a 5 megapixel front camera. Micromax Canvas 4 comes with a 2000 mAh battery that promises 20 hours of Talk time under nominal usage.
Micromax has also included a new unlock gesture which allows you to blow at the phone or shake it to unlock it. Along with that the device gets video pop out, flip to mute and other attractive features.
