After launching Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 in September this year, the company has today launched Bharat 5 smartphone in India. The Bharat 5 comes with a price tag of Rs 5,555 and will be available at offline stores starting from December 7, 2017. The smartphone comes in Black colour.
Micromax has partnered with Vodafone to offer 50GB data on the purchase Bharat 5. For the existing and new customers for Vodafone who buys Bharat 5 and 1GB data will get additional 10GB every month for 5 months.
The Micromax Bharat 5 sports a 5.2-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 400 nits brightness. It runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The device features smart key, which basically allows users to take screenshots, click pictures etc and it supports 22 Indian languages.
The Bharat 5 is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras with LED flash with Aperture f/2.2 and autofocus.
Further, the Bharat 5 is backed by a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Further, the storage can be further expandable up to 64GB via micro SD card slot. On the battery front, the Bharat 5 is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery, which the company claims can give a talk-time of 27 hours and 500 hours of standby time. On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G VoLTE, OTG support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB port.
