Meizu M6S specs and design leaked ahead of launch

Meizu M6S will be the first Meizu handset to sport a full-screen design with 18:9 aspect ratio and will have a fingerprint scanner on its side.

Meizu is all set to launch Meizu M6S (Blue Charm S6) smartphone on January 17. Just yesterday, the company released two teasers regarding some of the specs of the Meizu M6S.

Now ahead of the launch, Meizu M6S has now leaked on Chinese microblogging website revealing its entire specifications via promo materials, Droidholic reports.

As per the promo material, Meizu M6S will be powered by a 14nm Samsung Exynos chipset. The Meizu M6S will be the first Meizu handset to sport a full-screen design with 18:9 aspect ratio and will have a fingerprint scanner on its side. It will feature a 5.7-inch display with a screen of 1440 x 720 pixels. The display will be covered by a 2.5D curved glass on top.

The Samsung Exynos 7872 is manufactured using the 14nm FinFET LLP (low power plus) process. Exynos 7872 feature six cores with four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.6 GHz meant for power efficiency while remaining two Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz will be meant for performance. The chipset comes loaded with Mali-G71 GPU.
