Chinese handset brand, Meizu has announced its plans to launch its new smartphone ‘Meizu M2’ in India next week. The smartphone will be available in white, blue, grey and pink color variants. However, the company has not revealed its price yet.
Meizu m2 features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 (MediaTek MT6735 chipset) processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Flyme 4.5 on top.
The Meizu M2 sports a 13-megapixel CMOS rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage with is further expandable up-to 128 GB via a micro SD card and backed by a 2500mAh battery. On the connectivity front, Meizu m2 offers Dual SIM, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS. The handset measures 140.1 x 68.9 x 8.7 mm and weighs 131grams. Sensors include Hall Effect, Gravity, IR proximity, Ambient light, Touch, and Digital compass.
