LG U with full HD display, Octa-Core CPU unveiled

The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow and comes packed with 3,000mAh battery.

LG has introduced its new LG U smartphone in its home country, South Korea. The LG U is priced at 396,000 Korean Won (approximately Rs 23,128) and will be available from October 31st onwards. It comes in White, Black and Pinks colour options.

The LG U features a 5.2-inch full IPS In-Cell display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by a 1.14GHz Octa-Core processor. It comes with 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal memory, which can be further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

The LG U flaunts a 13-megapixel primary camera with Flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone gets its strength from a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. Besides, the smartphone LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 4.1, GPS, a microUSB port. The handset measures 147.6 × 73.2 × 7.7mm and weighs 135 grams.
