LG Q60, K50 and K40 with HD+ FullVision displays announced

The LG Q60 and LG K50 sports a waterdrop notch, while the K40 is equipped with a standard 18:9 display.

LG has today announced the launch of three new smartphones, just ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. The company has introduced LG Q60, LG K50 and K40 smartphones.

All three smartphones from LG come with features. There is an AI CAM that recognizes the objects and recommends the ideal shooting mode. The phones have a dedicated Google Assistant button as well. The LG Q60 and LG K50 sports a waterdrop notch, while the K40 is equipped with a standard 18:9 display.

All the smartphones are equipped with DTS:X 3D surround sound for earphones and the technology creates a 7.1 channel surround sound system for an immersive audio experience. All of them come with MIL-STD 7810G compliance and there is a fingerprint sensor at the back panel of each smartphone.

Starting with LG Q60, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.26-inch FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 2TB via card slot.

On the camera front, it is equipped with a triple-camera setup with a combination of a 16-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel super wide angle lens. For the front, there is a 13-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The phone runs on 9.0 Pie and it is equipped with a 3,500mAh battery. The phone measures 161.3 x 77 x 8.7mm.

Coming to LG K50, the smartphone also features a 6.26-inch HD+ FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz along with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configuration. The memory can be further expanded up to 2TB.

For optics, the LG K50 employs dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary lens with PDAF and 2-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, there is a 13-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The phone features a 3,500mAh battery and runs on Android 9.0 Pie. The phone measures 161.3 x 77 x 8.7mm.

Lastly, the LG K40 features a 5.7-inch HD+ FullVision Display. The phone is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core and it is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone features a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by a 3,000 battery. The phone measures 153 x 71.9 x 8.3mm.
