Lenovo Z6 Pro up for pre-orders, will feature quad cameras

Lenovo Z6 Pro will come with four camera sensors which will be vertically aligned on the back side.

Lenovo Z6 Pro smartphone will be launched on April 23rd at an event in China. Now ahead of the phone’s launch, it has now been confirmed that the phone will feature a quad camera setup and is up for preorder in a Chinese e-commerce website and Lenovo Mall.

A few photos of the phone’s features, confirming its camera capabilities have been shared byLenovo’s consumer business Head in China. Lenovo Z6 Pro will come with four camera which will be vertically aligned on the back side. The primary sensor of the phone will be of 48-megapixels. The phone will be capable of taking 100-megapixel photos. The details about the other three sensors are unknown at the moment.

Meanwhile, the phone is available for pre-order on Chinese online retailer JD.com and Lenovo Mall Home. At the moment, the phone is listed for pre-order with a “Buy” button but it doesn’t do anything right now. The price for the phone is listed as 9,999 yuan which is apparently a place holder. The actual price will be revealed when it will be launched.

The support for 5G connectivity was recently confirmed by Lenovo’s executive Chang Cheng by posting a screenshot of the phone’s network icons on his Weibo account. The Z6 Pro will be the brand’s first 5G smartphone.

It was earlier confirmed that the Lenovo Z6 Pro will come equipped with Snapdragon 855 chipset. Further, the smartphone would have a Hyper Vision camera, which is said to capture 100-megapixel shots using software enhancements.

The smartphone is said to run on 9.0 Pie OS. It is expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor, wireless charging support, large rear camera sensor, metal frame and a glass back The Lenovo Z6 Pro is expected to feature a notchless display with either a slider design or an elevating front camera.
