Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer, HTC is expected to bring the much-speculated U12 smartphone next month – i.e. in March. The HTC U12 is expected to be its flagship smartphone of this year. There have been lot of speculations about its features and looks till date. However, the company has not revealed anything about it so far.
But it seems that the curtains are off from the HTC U12, though not intended by the company. Actually, the company had showcased an unnamed smartphone at the 5G event in Taiwan recently. Now famous tipster Evan Blass has claimed that the phone could be none other than the HTC U12.
From the picture, it is quite clearly that the phone has an 18:9 display. It looks like to have a 6 inch screen with Quad HD+ resolution. At the 5G event the phone was displayed with Qualcomm X20 chipset that comes with LTE modem and supports download speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps.
As per earlier speculations, the HTC U12 will be the device that might come with a dual-camera setup. The HTC U12 is expected to powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and it will run on Android Oreo. It will be equipped with the 6GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Other than this, the smartphone might also come with a dual front camera setup for the selfie.
Other than that nothing much is known right now.
