Intex has added another member to its Aqua series with the addition of Aqua Trend Lite smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 5,690, the device is available through the offline channels and comes in Champagne Gold colour variants.
The major highlight of the device is the 1.5W speaker which the company boasts will give louder, better and sharper sound quality. The smartphone also comes with a variety of value-added services and features including MiFon Security which is a 9-in-1 security suite to make the device secure and smarter.
It also comes equipped with LFTY, which basically a left screen concept that provides users with multi-category content with just a swipe of the screen. Then there is Vistoso, which allows users to add artistic filters while using smartphone’s camera. Lastly, there is Tap and Buy feature, which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist users’ in shopping.
Coming to the specifications, the smartphone boasts a 5-inch FWGA display with a screen Resolution of 480×854 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core Processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS and weighs 160 grams.On the camera front, the device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling. The handset houses a 2600mAh Li-ion battery which the company claims can give a talk time up to 8 hours with a standby time up to 200 hours. On the connectivity front, the device support 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro USB port.
