Intel along with Xolo, a brand of Lava international, is preparing to launch another Android smartphone at a special event Goa, India, this week.
The Intel-Xolo event is scheduled on March 14. On the same day, Samsung is also likely to announce the much awaited Galaxy SIV smartphone.
Last month, Intel announced the new dual-core Intel Atom processors codenamed “Clover Trail+” at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The new Intel Atom “Clover Trail+” processors comprises of three dual-core models – Z2580 clocked at 2 GHz, Z2560 clocked at 1.6 GHz and Z2520 clocked at 1.2 GHz.
The new Intel-Xolo phone is touted to be the fastest smartphone ever and we certainly shall wait for the benchmarks to give more details on the same. As of now, there are no details available about the phone set to launch but it will certainly run Android 4.x Jelly Bean update.
