Instagram has announced that users will be able photos and videos that older than 24 hours to Stories. The latest update will be part of Instagram version 22 and it is available on both iOS and Android platforms.
Previously, Instagram only allowed photos and videos to be uploaded to Stories, which were taken within 24 hours limit. Now, with the latest update, users will be able to add anything from the camera roll and share it instantly with friends.
Further, users will automatically see a new sticker that helps them add context for when it was taken. One can also rotate, resize or remove the date sticker from the story before it is being shared. Earlier, the photo-sharing App introduced Superzoom feature through which users will get an extremely close-ups that can be used to make funny videos with some dramatic sound effects.

The new mode is placed next to Boomerang button. Users can tap record to automatically zoom in with suspenseful music. Further, users can send the video to their friends on Instagram Direct or add it to the story.
Instagram had also announced a new feature through which users can go live with a friend. Users can add a guest during a live broadcast by tapping the new icon on the bottom right and tap “Add” to invite anyone who is currently watching the live stream. Once they join, the screen will be spilt into two and the friend will pop up right below user’s screen.
