Infocus is all set to launch Infocus Turbo 5 Plus and Infocus Snap 4 smartphones in India on September 13. The company has already sent out media invites for the launch event. Though the invite has not revealed the name of the devices to be launched at the event thanks to the teasers shared by the company on its social media platforms, the new smartphones will be Turbo 5 Plus and Snap 4 indeed.
From the earlier teasers, we know that the Infocus Turbo 5 Plus will feature a dual camera setup at the back. The two cameras are placed horizontally at the back along with a dual LED flash. The smartphone will be featuring a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button in the front. The is a power and volume rockers button on the right side of the device. An earlier teaser has also revealed that the Turbo 5 Plus will come with 4850 mAh battery. Apart from these features, nothing much is known about this upcoming handset. But it is likely to be priced very competitively considering the company’s focus on the budget segment.
Similarly, from the teasers we know that the Infocus Snap 4 will also be featuring dual camera setup at the back. Below the camera, there will be a circular fingerprint sensor at the back. Like Turbo 5 Plus, nothing much is known about this upcoming handset also.
Infocus Turbo 5 Plus will be the successor of the InFocus Turbo 5 which was launched in India in June this year starting at Rs 6,999. InFocus Turbo 5 comes in two variants – 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999 respectively. As far as specifications of InFocus Turbo 5 are concerned, it offers a unibody metal design and a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720) HD IPS display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali T720 GPU, along with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The hybrid dual SIM based smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The device is backed up by a huge 5000 mAh battery which claims to offer up to 23 hours of talk time and up to 816 hours of standby time along with support to charge other phones using OTG. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor located on the back of the device.
The InFocus Turbo 5 comes with 16GB/32GB of internal storage, and expandable storage up to 32GB via micro SD card. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone offers a 5-megapixel front camera. For connectivity, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ AGPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, micro USB 2.0, Accelerometer, Ambient Light sensor, E-Compass, and Proximity sensor. The device measures 150 x 74 x 9.0 and weighs 163 grammes.
