Huawei Y7 Prime launched with 4,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 435 SoC

The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

Huawei new smartphone, dubbed as Huawei Y7 Prime, has gone official in Hong Kong. The Huawei Huawei Y7 Prime is priced at HKD 1,880 which is approximately Rs 15,531 and is available to buy at Hong Kong’s Vmall. It comes in Gold, Silver and Gray colour options. The new device is very similar to the Enjoy 7 Plus which was launched in China in April this year.

The Huawei Y7 Prime features an all-metal unibody design and a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and comes equipped with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and Adreno 505 GPU, along with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device can hold expandable storage via microSD card. The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system which is wrapped under EMUI 5.1 and is backed up by a massive 4000mAh battery.

On the camera front, the Huawei Y7 Prime sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with flash light and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is placed on the back panel of the device. Besides, the smartphone offers dual sim, LTE, 4.1, WiFi, GPS, 3.5mm jack and a microUSB port. The device measures 153.6 x 76.4 x 8.35mm and weighs 165 grams.
