Huawei has been rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update based on its latest EMUI 8.0 to its older smartphones. The company has rolled out the update to older smartphones and it has now announced the update for these Honor and Huawei devices.
The company made this official announcement on its Weibo account. According to the post, the list of smartphones getting the latest update will be Huawei Mate 8, Huawei P9, Huawei P9 Plus, Honor 8, Honor Note 8, Honor 6X, Huawei Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, Mate 9 Porsche Design, P10, P10 Plus, Honor 9, Honor V9, Huawei Nova 2, Nova 2 Plus, Huawei Nova Youth and Honor 7X.
Post getting the update, the smartphones will come with features like Smart Resolution, dynamic wallpaper, navigation bar customizations and more. Huawei promises to deliver a more simplified interface enabling an easy single touch switching between user spaces, prompt data transfer and quick file sharing abilities.
Other than this, the EMUI 8.0 user interface is based on the machine learning technology with the Intelligent Resource Allocation, Intelligent Context Awareness, User Behavior and Intelligent Behavior Prediction, AI capabilities are claimed to provide a more durable and fast experience to the consumer.
