As reported by The Mobile Indian earlier, Huawei has launched two Android phones from its Ascend series in India. While the Ascend G300 is a mid-level phone, the Ascend Y200 is an entry level handset.
Huawei Ascend G300 priced at Rs 13,490 and comes with a 4.0-inch WVGA screen with IPS technology and anti-finger print design. Ascend G300 has a 5-megapixel-auto focus camera with video recording capabilities and an LED flash.
Huawei Ascend G300 comes with 1GHz CPU and Android 2.3 operating system. Another attractive feature of this handset is that it takes less than 120 minutes to get fully charged with its supplied high power charger.

Huawei Ascend Y200, which is targeted towards youth, sports a new “U” form design with premium looks and 3D texture on back for firm grip. Ascend Y200 only takes five seconds for boot up and comes with 3.5 inch IPS touch screen. Ascend Y200 is powered with Qualcomm 800 MHz CPU and is based on Android 2.3 system. Ascend Y200 takes only 90 minutes to get fully charged with high power charger.
Another added feature in Ascend Y200 is its Dual-Mic which reduces the background noise. Huawei Ascend Y200 comes at the price of Rs 8,190.

Huawei plans to launch smartphones from Ascend P and Ascend D series by Diwali this year. All the four Ascend service (Y, G, P and D) will have multiple phones under them.
