According to HTC each of the uni body undergoes a fabrication process that lasts almost 1500 minutes before the final body is made. In HTC One too has undergone the same process. Every curve is well though of, the speaker grills are not pasted on but are designed in the body itself that adds looks and strength as well. The device comes in white and black color options but only the white color opting was showcased.

Built using a 4.7 inch Full HD LCD display, with a true 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution HTC One is great for most tasks and certainly great for multimedia and gaming in terms of display. The display is protected with Gorilla Glass 2, which is further tougher to crack and lighter as compared to its predecessor.

HTC One has a total of 3 hardware keys including power on top, volume rocker on the right. The device holds a 2300 mAh battery pack but surprisingly even with a metal body and a 4.7 inch display device has been kept at under 150 grams.

The HTC One is powered by the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset with a 1.7GHz Quad-core processor, Adreno GPU and 2GB of RAM. The Google Android Jelly bean operating system certainly feels alive on the high powered hardware specifications and there is hardly any lag seen while working around even with multiple apps in action in the background. HTC has added a quite a few new features to the stock Android OS like the real time updating of social media with HTC Blink Feed on the home screen, and the all new HTC Sense 5 user interface. Along with that HTC has added a number of software functionalities like the HTC Zoe as well which we will talk in the full review later on.

At the back of the HTC One there’s an Ultra Pixel camera with a Back Side Illumination. With ultrapixels HTC is taking on the megapixel race full front. Along with that the HTC One comes with optical image stabilization for great and jitter free image captures.

Another great inclusion is the yet another 1080p capable F/2.0 camera is at the front as well. All has been made possible with the HTC’s dedicated imaging chip that does the wonders. Along with that the front camera can also do still shots as well.

For music lovers the addition of HTC’s trademark Beats Audio sound enhancement in the One is a welcome gift. The HTC One comes with stereo speakers that add a new meaning to music playback and audio reproduction.

The HTC One comes with a 32 /64GB of built-in storage, which is not abundant especially considering that there’s no micro SD card slot for storing data beyond the allotted capacity. Although cloud storage can be a resort but considering the present high speed data charges it is surely a big disappointment for the users.
