HTC has announced the launch of a new Dual-SIM Android smartphone in India, which has been named as HTC Desire SV. The HTC Desire SV comes with a fresh new design and a 1 GHz dual core processor. It will be available in India in two colour variants including Radical Yellow and Stealth Black, carrying a price tag of Rs 22,590, from this month onwards.
The HTC Desire SV features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play MSM8225 processor, like the one found on the Desire X, along with a 768 MB of RAM. The Desire SV comes with a 4.3 inch LCD 2 display with an expected 720p resolution. The device has 4 GB internal storage that can be further expanded up by 32 GB with the use of a micro SD storage card. Along with that Desire SV users will also get 25 GB complimentary Dropbox storage.
At the back, HTC Desire SV has an 8 megapixel main camera which features an f/2.2 Aperture and Autofocus lens with LED flash for detail and accuracy in images even in low light conditions. In addition to that the smartphone also features the BSI (Back Side Illumination) sensor that enhances quality of images in low light conditions.
For best in class sound, the HTC Desire SV features Beats Audio enhancement along with supported hardware. HTC has not been bundling the Beats audio headsets with the devices in the past and it is expected that the Desire SV will also come sans them.
