Recently, it was reported that HTC is working on a budget smartphone codenamed “Breeze”. Now as per famous tipster Evan Blass, it seems that the handset in question has been now confirmed to be the HTC Desire 12.
Blass on his official twitter handle revelaed that HTC Breeze will come to market as HTC Desire 12. In an earlier tweet, the tipster has leaked most of this budget smartphone specifications.

HTC Desire 12 will have a 5.5-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Other than that it will have Mediatek SoC and a 2730mAh battery. The phone is said to be coming with 2 GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. As per Evan Blass, the phone will be priced accordingly.
The HTC Desire 12 is expected to be launched at the time of Mobile World Congress 2018 event. However, as per reports, HTC might not unveil anything at MWC 2018 due to Samsung announcing the Galaxy S9 at the event.

Looking at the specs, we expect the phone to be priced below Rs 10,000 but for it to compete in the markets like India, HTC must price it less than Rs 7,000 as currently Xiaomi offering phones with similar specs for as low as Rs 4,999 (Redmi 5A).
