HTC is set to launch a high end smartphone called HTC U12. But that is not everything the company is working on for now. As per famous tipster Evan Blass, the company is working on a budget smartphone.
Blass said that the phone is codenamed as Breeze. Earlier too, HTC named another phone with the same codename. He said that the phone will have a 5.5 inch touchscreen.
The so called HTC Breeze is to have a 18:9 ratio. Other than that it will have Mediatek SoC and a 2730mAh battery. The phone is said to be coming with 2 GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
Evan Blass also said that the phone will be priced accordingly.
The HTC Breeze is expected to be launched at the time of Mobile World Congress 2018 event.
Looking at the specs, we expect the phone to be priced below Rs 10,000 but for it to compete in the markets like India, HTC must price it less than Rs 7,000 as currently Xiaomi offering phones with similar specs for as low as Rs 4,999 (Redmi 5A).
