As per new leak HTC Bolt is code-named as "HTC Acadia".
As reported earlier that HTC is working on a smartphone called 'HTC Bolt' and is expected to launch it on October 18 in the USA. Now as per ROM developer, @LlabTooFeR, the upcoming HTC Bolt is code-named as "HTC Acadia" and will run on Android Nougat operating system with Sense 8 UI on top of it. Further, LlabTooFeR claimed that it will be available in select EMEA countries.
As per previous report, the HTC Bolt has many similarities compared to previously launched HTC 10, but is said to have few changes like LED flash now placed above the camera and the front-facing camera has also moved around. Moreover, HTC Bolt reportedly will not have 3.5mm headphone jack, so most likely users will have to use its USB Type-C port for music listening as well.
The smartphone reportedly will have all-metal unibody deign and a fingerprint scanner which will be integrated on the home button.
The HTC Bolt is said to be the successor of HTC Thunderbolt smartphone which was released way back in 2011. To recall, The HTC ThunderBolt (ADR6400L code-name "Mecha") was the first 4G LTE smartphone on the Verizon Wireless network. It was a CDMA/LTE variant of the HTC Desire HD.
As of now this much of information is available for HTC Bolt. We will keep you posted as soon as we get some concrete update on this.
