Honor 5X is certain to be launching in India this January 28 but now a website has claimed that the company may announce a previously unknown device, named as Honor Holly 2Plus, at the same event.
PC-Tablet, quoting its sources, reported that the so called Holly 2 Plus has a polycarbonate body, a 5 inch IPS HD display, 1.3 GHz 64-bit quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and 128GB micro SD slot.
Besides, Honor Holly 2 Plus is said to have a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megpixel front camera, 4000mAh battery, dual SIM and 4G connectivity. The website also said that the phone could be priced at Rs 6,999.
Note that Honor 5X is also certain to be launched at New Delhi this January 28. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) IPS display and is powered by a 64-bit, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53). The smartphone comes in two variants one with 2GB RAM and the other with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.1 lollipop operating system with EMUI 3.1 on top of it.
The Honor 5X comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via a micro SD card and packs with non-removable 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery. The smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED (dual tone) flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.
On the connectivity front, the Honor 5X offers Dual SIM, 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Direct, WiFi Hotspot, and A-GPS/GLONASS. The smartphone, which measures 151.3 x 76.3 x 8.2 mm and weighs 158 grams, is also armed with a fingerprint sensor.
