Huawei’s Honor brand has announced the launch of Honor 8C in China. The Honor 8C smartphone is the successor the Honor 7C which was launched earlier this year. Honor 8C is the first smartphone running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 SoC. It comes in Aurora Blue, Platinum Gold, Nebula Purple and Midnight Black colour options.

Honor 8C features a 6.26-inch HD+ notched display with a 1520 x 720 pixel resolution. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 80.4 percent and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage.
There is a dual rear camera setup of a 13-megapixel sensor along with an f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 2-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The front-facing camera will carry support for AI face unlock.

Honor 8C runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.2 on top. It is fueled by 4,000mAh battery with support for 5V/2A charger. The phone also features a fingerprint scanner on the backside
The phone includes connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS +GLONASS. The phone measures 158.72 x 75.94 x 7.98mm and weighs 167.2 grams.
