Honor 8 Lite launched with 5.2-inch full HD display, Android Nougat

The smartphone is now up for pre-order at one of the Finnish website.

Honor 8 Lite smartphone, a toned down version of last year’s Honor 8 has been spotted on a Finnish website. The smartphone is now up for pre-order at 269 Euro (approximately Rs 19,563) and sale will commence on February 17. The smartphone has four colour options to choose from- Black, White, Blue and Gold. However, initially only Black and White colour variants will be available for purchase.

Yesterday, few images of the said smartphone were also leaked online.

As per Finnish website listing, the Honor 8 Lite features a 5.2-inch full 2.5D curved glass display with resolution of 1920×1280 pixels. on top of it. It is fueled by a octa-core Kirin 655 processor, along with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via card. There is also a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on its back panel.

The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system with EMUI 5.0 on top of it and is backed up by a 300mAh non removable battery. On the camera front, it has 12-megapixel camera with F2.2 aperture, LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-camera with 77-degree angle of view. Besides, the Honor 8 Lite offers 4G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS/A-GPS. The handset measures 147.2 x 72.94 x 7.6 mm and weighs 147 grams.
