Huawei’s sub-brand Honor recently launched Honor Play in India. Now reportedly the company is all set to launch Honor 7S budget smartphone in the first week of September.
According to a report by IANS, the Honor 7S will be launched in India in the first week of September and it would be available on Flipkart. “The smartphone will feature a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front snapper with selfie toning flash,” industry sources told IANS.
The Honor 7S was launched in Pakistan in May this year. The smartphone is priced at PKR 14,499 which is approx. Rs 8,333 and it comes in Black, Blue and Gold colour options. Honor 7S is said to be re-branded Honor Play 7 that was launched in China.

To recall the specs of Honor 7S, it features a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display with a Pixel density of 295ppi. Armed by an entry-level MediaTek MT6739 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, it has a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. The phone lacks a fingerprint sensor but comes with a Face Unlock feature.
For the optics, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with flash. The phone EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a 3020mAh battery.
The Honor 7S connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5 mm Headphone jack and micro USB. The phone measures 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3mm and weighs 142 grams.
Honor Play was launched in India for Rs 19,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 23,999.
