Google Nexus 6 out of stock on Google Play Store, coming soon on Flipkart

Nexus 6 was expected to be made available on Google Play Store and Flipkart from yesterday midnight.

It was announced yesterday that Nexus 6 will be made available on Flipkart and Google play Store from midnight to coincide with Google's Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) but today 32 GB version Nexus 6 is out of stock on Google Play Store and 64 Version is displaying coming soon message. Even on Flipkart, Both the versions of Nexus 6 that are listed are showing coming soon message.

Nexus 6 is available in two variants 32 GB and 64 GB for Rs 43,999 and Rs 48,999 respectively. The colour options are Midnight Blue and Cloud White.

Announced in October this year, the Nexus 6 succeeds the Nexus 5 which is retailing for around Rs 25,000. The new Nexus 6 comes with the new Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and has a 6 inch display. What's delighting is that this display has Quad HD resolution and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The phone has also dual front speakers. For superfast performance, Nexus 6 is armed with the 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad core processor and Adreno 420 GPU and 3 GB RAM. The smartphone comes in 32 GB and 64 GB variants and neither has expandable storage slot like other Nexus smartphones.

The Motorola Nexus 6 is water resistant and this 10.1 mm thick smartphone weighs 184 grams with the non-removable 3220 Li-Po battery that claims to offer 24 hours of talktime.

Photography enthusiasts will also find it lucrative as the Nexus 6 has a 13 megapixel rear camera which comes with f2.0 lens and optical image stabilisation feature. For selfies and video calls, there is a 2 megapixel camera in its front.

The Motorola made Google Nexus 6 has a single nano SIM slot, offering 4G (most likely to be compatible with Indian 4G networks too). It has dual band WiFi with WiFi Direct and Hotspot feature. For file transfer, the Nexus 6 offers DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP Low Energy, NFC, and micro USB port which also acts as as USB hub so you can connect pen drives directly with this phone.
