Gionee M7 with Full HD+ FullView display and M7 Power with 5000mAh battery announced

The Gionee M7 comes with a 6.01-inch Full HD+ FullView AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels

As expected, Gionee has today added two new members to its M series with the launch of M7 and M7 Power in China. The Gionee M7 comes with a price tag of 2799 Yuan (approx. Rs 27,500) and it will be available in Sapphire Blue, Star Blue, Champagne Gold, Black and Maple Red colours starting from September 26. The M7 Power is priced at 1999 Yuan (approx. Rs 19,700) and will be available in Blue, Gold and Black colour options starting from September 30.

Both the smartphones with a FullView display, which supports an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Gionee M7 comes with a 6.01-inch Full FullView with a screen of 2160 x 1080 pixels, while the M7 Power sports a 6.0-inch HD+ FullView Display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.

Starting with the Gionee M7, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P30 along with Mali-G71 GPU. The phone is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via card slot.

On the imaging front, the phone comes loaded with a dual-camera setup with 16-megapixel primary lens and an 8-megapixel secondary lens. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

For security, the device houses a fingerprint sensor at the back panel and it is also comes equipped with built-in security chip for safe mobile payments. The Gionee M7 runs on 7.1.1 Nougat based on Amigo OS 5.0 and is backed by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support. On the connectivity front, it supports VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, 4.2, GPS, NFC, dual SIM and USB port.

Coming to the M7 Power, the major highlight of the device is the 5000mAh battery with fast charging. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. The device is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot.

On the camera front, the M7 Power sports a 13-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and LED flash, while for the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter. The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back as well and it runs on Amigo 5.0 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and support.
