Gionee has finally launched the much-awaited, the M7 Power smartphone for the Indian market. Priced at Rs 16,999, the smartphone will be available from November 25.
The smartphone is up for pre-booking on Amazon website from November 17 to November 24. The device comes loaded with some exiting offers including a 6-month one-time screen replacement warranty. Users will also get extra Rs 3000 off on exchange and No Cost EMI options. Further, Reliance Jio users will get up to 100GB of additional 4G data.
The major highlight of the smartphone is the new bezel-less display along with a 5,000mAh battery. The back panel comes loaded with a textured finish, while the front sports a large 6-inch HD+ FullView display with a screen Resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. The device is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, the M7 Power sports a 13-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and LED flash, while for the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter. The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back as well and it runs on Amigo 5.0 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and Dual-SIM support.

Going by the sheer specs sheet, the smartphone will face a stiff competition with the likes of Honor 9i, Xiaomi Mi Ai, Motorola Moto G5s Plus and more, all of them features a dual-camera setup and are considered one of the best option in this price range. It would be interesting to see whether the new smartphone will be able to create a place for itself in this highly-competitive market.
