Gionee has released the Android 4.4 KitKat update for its Elife E7 mini. The update for the Elife E7 mini can be downloaded directly on the phone. Alternatively, Elife E7 mini owners can visit any of the Gionee service centers to have it updated for free.
Gionee Elife E7 mini features a rotating camera that allows the user to capture images at various angles. Apart from that, the native hardware offers enough support to run the Amigo UI based over the Android code smoothly. The update is said to enhance its user interface further apart from updating several native applications.
Among the new updates include a new desktop layout which is customisable using the Amigo Paper with new set of wallpapers and background. GioneeXender has been updated to optimise the performance of the phone, enabling high speed transfer of files. The Gaming Zone’s user interface has been improved too.
Several apps such as UC Browser, NQ Mobile Security and Kingsoft Office apps have been updated with individual enhancements to improve the overall performance. Elife E7 mini also gets several under the hood bug fixes and changes.
