Budget smartphones from Xiaomi Redmi 4A, Redmi 4, and Redmi Note 4 will be available for preorder today on the company’s website. Cash on delivery option will not be available for all the three devices. Among the three devices up for grab today, Redmi 4A is the cheapest and Redmi Note 4 being the most expensive.

Redmi 4A is available for Rs 5,999. It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 and comes with 2GB Ram and 16GB internal memory. It has a 3120 mAh battery. On the other hand, Redmi 4 comes in three variants with 2GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB configurations priced at Rs 6,999, Rs 8,999 and Rs10,999 respectively. It has a metal unibody design and comes with a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved display with the resolution of 720×1280 pixels. On the inside, the Redmi 4 comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset with the clock speed of 1.4GHz, along with Adreno 505 GPU.

The most expensive of the lot, Redmi Note 4 is priced at Rs 9,999 for 2GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, Rs 10,999 for 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and Rs 12,999 for 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and comes in Dark Grey, Black and Gold colour options.

As far as specifications of Redmi Note 4 is concerned, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating and has a 4100 mAh battery.

So, what should be your pick among the three?

If you have a tight budget between Rs 6,500-7,000, Redmi 4A can be your ideal choice. If you want a slightlymore powerful device, Redmi 4 can be considered. If you are a power user or intend to play heavy games on your phone and prefer bigger and sharper displays, then you should opt for Note 4.
