With just three more days are left to file income-tax returns, if you are still wondering how to do it, then just turn on your mobile.
TaxSpanner.com, an Indian website that helps in filing of taxes, had sometime back launched a mobile optimised version of its website that allows mobile consumers to file income tax returns (ITR) through their device.
For this, a user has to visit the TaxSpanner site on a mobile device through mobile Browser then they will land on the “eFile by eMail” application page of the mobile site.
There is no need to register. One just needs to fill up a form with some personal details and upload Form 16 on the same page. Thereafter, the ITR will be filled and generated automatically. Users will have an option to visit the regular website by clicking on a link.
“After introducing the eFile by eMail option, where customers need to just send us an email with a few details, e-filing of taxes through mobile is the next step for the company,” Ankur Sharma, chief executive officer, TaxSpanner, said in a statement.
“Our new mobile site will make it easy for the taxpayer to file his ITR using the mobile phone,” he added.
