Spice is going to launch a new Android smartphone under its Stellar series. The new phone, called Stellar Virtuoso Mi 495, features a 4.5 inch IPS panel with qHD (960 x 540 pixel) resolution, and an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. The IPS panel is meant to offer a wide viewing angle. The phone runs on a 1 GHz dual core processor and is based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It also gets a 1700 mAh battery.
The phone will be competing with Karbonn A21, iBall Andi 4.5H and Xolo 800. All of them get an almost identical feature set and similar pricing as well. The MRP of Mi 495 is Rs 12,499 but it is expected to retail at around Rs 11,500.
