A colourful and cheaper version of the Apple iPhone 5 is reportedly in the making.
This has been predicted by KGI Securities’ analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a very good track record in predicting Apple’s product plans.
Ming-Chi has said that the relatively cheaper iPhone 5 will have a plastic casing instead of the ever popular Aluminum shell that Apple has been using in its handsets till now.
The device however will not be as sleek as it will feature an 8.2 MM thick plastic body.
Unlike its traditional white and black devices, Apple is said to be making the new iPhone 5 in six colour combinations which has been made possible due to the use of plastic polycarbonate body.
Since it is said to be cheaper version of the current iPhone 5, Apple might have fitted a dual core Processor instead of the quad core processor. However, it is to be remembered that just few days back the iPad maker had denied making any cheap iPhone models.
