Celkon Mobiles has launched a new Celkon UniQ smartphone for Rs 8,999. The smartphone is listed on the company’s website in Grey and Gold colours. However, availability details of the Celkon UniQ are not known as of now.
The Celkon UniQ features a metal body and a 5-inch (720 x 1280) HD IPS Display with 2.5D curved glass protection and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and comes packed with a 2700 mAh Lithium Polymer battery. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button at the front of the device.
The Celkon UniQ comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by up to 128GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone offers a 16-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, while an 8-megapixel camera is in its front with Moonlight flash. Further, the device offers Dual SIM, 4G, Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS/ AGPS, and a Micro USB 2.0 port.
On paper, the specs of Celkon UniQ don’t look much impressive. At Rs 8,999, the smartphone faces stiff competition from the likes of recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Tecno Camon i, Moto E4 Plus smartphones who offer better specs than Celkon UniQ.
Recently, Airtel partnered with Celkon Mobiles to launch Star 4G+ smartphone at an effective price of Rs 1249.
