US smartphone manufacturer, Blu had announced Vivo XL alongwith Vivo 5 earlier this yeat at the CES in Las Vegas, USA. Now seems like Blu is going to announce its successor Blu Vivo XL2 in the coming time. Some of the specs of the unannounced Blu Vivo XL2 have been revealed by the FCC. However, the FCC doesn’t carry detailed information on XL2 specs. For those who don’t know, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US.
As per the FCC, the Blue Vivo XL2 features 5.5-inch display of unknown resolution. It also comes with rear camera with LED flash and front-facing camera. It will be powered by MediaTek processor and backed by up a 3,150 mAh battery. The FCC documents also reveal that it will feature expandable memory slot and run on Android operating system, although specific details were not revealed.
Since BLU Vivo XL2 has now been certified at FCC, the is expected to be unveiled very soon, possibly at Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is scheduled to start from January 5, 2017 in Las Vegas.
To recall, Vivo XL also features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 × 720) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Octa-Core Mediatek 6753 processor with MALI-T720 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system also upgrade able to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system.
The Vivo XL comes with 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable via a micro SD card. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The device gets the power from a 3150 mAh battery. Connectivity wise, the Vivo XL also comes with 4G and offers Type C-USB, GPS and WiFi. Its dimensions measure 155.2 x 76.6 x 7.5 mm.
