BLU is all set to announce its new flagship smartphone,named as BLU Pure XR, on August 29. The company has started teasing out its upcoming device on its social media platform to create the hype. As per the teaser, the smartphone will be unveiled on August 29 at $299 (approximately Rs 20,024). Further, as per teaser, the smartphone will have have 4GB of RAM.

As per report in GSMArena, the upcoming smartphone could be a re-branded version of Gionee S8 smartphone and is expected to feature a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) AMOLED Display and will be powered by a MediaTek’s Helio P10 chipset, along with 64GB ROM. It will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and would be backed by a 3,000 mAh battery. Further, on the camera front, the smartphopne might come with 16-megapixel shooter with with phase detection, laser autofocus, LED flash on the back, and on the front, it will have 8-megapixel snapper for selfies.
