BlackBerry KEYone was launched in India last year with Android Nougat. Now seems like the smartphone will receive Oreo update soon as Blackberry has started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo beta update for its BlackBerry KEYone smartphone.

As per a report of CrackBerry, the company is rolling out the beta update via invite only. You can log in bbeta.centercode.com/welcome/ who want to test the update before it gets released. However the report did not mention when the Oreo beta will be available to testers.

Announcing the beta program, BlackBerry said, “This month, July, we are moving our beta testing effort to a new community hosted by beta program experts Centercode. We would love for you to continue beta testing early versions of apps and software with us in this new community. We’re also happy to be starting an invitation-only beta program for Android Oreo on the BlackBerry KEYone. If you’re a KEYone user, make sure to visit the new community and complete your profile to secure an invite.”

Recently, BlackBerry KEY² was launched at an event in NewYork. KEYone also received a price cut in India, so it is expected that the successor will also soon debut in India. As of now, there is no official confirmation about the launch of the BlackBerry KEY2 in India.
