Samsung launched its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus last month but the flagship was missing one of the crucial fs – Bixby Voice. However, as per a report by ZDNeteature, the feature is now rolling out for Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus users in South Korea.
Just before the official release, Samsung stated that Bixby Voice will not ship with the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus until later this spring. So an initial rollout in South Korea is a positive indicator that the company is, in fact, fastening the process. For the Indian region, we are yet to see any update on Bixby Voice.
Currently, Bixby on Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus comes with Vision (Camera Recognition), Reminder and Home (Cards-like homescreen). While the voice command will let users throw up commands to perform almost any task on the device.
While Bixby was not there, Samsung’s latest flagships have gone through a bunch of serious hiccups. The device was initially reported to get a red tint on its display which Samsung was quick to respond and eventually rolled out a fix. However, there are a couple of more issues which are now dampening the great response which Samsung has got up till now. Some users are facing random restarts while the other bunch are having issues with Wi-Fi connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy S8 will be out in stores this week starting 5th May in India. You can also buy it online via Flipkart. The S8 is priced at Rs 57,900 while the S8 Plus is priced at Rs 64,900.
